Axiomat Upright Transmitted Module Configuration
Image

Welcome!

This site is dedicated to the use, maintenance, repair, history, and collection of the Axiomat
microscope from the Carl Zeiss Group.  It is my intention to provide a website  for all persons
interested in the history, and use of this one of a kind microscope. According to more
knowledgeable folks than I there were less than 800 of these magnificent scopes sold worldwide,
about 200 in the U.S.A. Though I have spoken with a gentleman who has over 11!  According to
Axiomat documents from the Carl Zeiss Group, when fully configured with a Large Lamphouse,
the Axiomat weighes more than 300lbs!  Not a microscope a person would be moving around their
kitchen table.

All Zeiss document files are the copyright materials of the Carl Zeiss Group. I have their permission to
convert specific Zeiss documents into pdf. format for downloading by interested parties. Zeiss documents that I upload are available to all without charge. I ask that you respect the copyrights of the Carl Zeiss Group, and my efforts to make them available to everyone free of charge by not selling them. You may not edit them without written permission from the Carl Zeiss Group. It is not necessary to reference my website but please acknowledge the generosity of the Carl Zeiss Group in allowing their documents to be distributed publicly.

I have only a small portion of existing printed Axiomat documents and Axiomat related documents in my possession. If you have Axiomat and/or Axiomat related documents you would like to donate, provide copies of, or offer to me for purchase please contact me via my website. I will provide high resolution, 600 dpi, color, copies of  any Zeiss documents in my possession in exchange for copies of your Axiomat and/or Axiomat related documents.

Hopefully I have covered all of the needed disclaimers, guidelines, fine print, etc. If I have missed anything please let me know. Would appreciate feedback on any words that I have missspelled!  Wink

Folks,

We have a lift off! Registered users may now click "Download Documents"
on the Main Menu to enter our document download webpage. Browse and
download if you find a Zeiss Document that interests you. Our website is
being hosted without cost, (Thanks son and daughter-in-law!) in order to
not wear out our welcome mat I have limited downloads to 1 per day per
register user. No limit on the number of files you can download over time.
Just trying to avoid any potential bandwidth problems and in very sneaky
manner increase our website hit count. Trying to insure when folks search
the internet using the word Axiomat" our website will pop up in the first
six entries.

While looking through my Zeiss documents for all relevant Axiomat documents
I came across some Zeiss documents that aren't related to the Axiomat but
might be of interest to those folks having more than one type of microscope.
I will upload those in their own labeled folder. Check them out if you are curious.

Once again I invite anyone with Axiomat documents that they may wish to
sell or donate a copy to our website to contact me via our website.

Winter is fast approaching. Barring weather catastrophes which, in our very real,
very now "global warming" catastrophic era, are possible for any of us just about
anywhere in this rapidly breaking down earth, I hope to have time to finish posting all
of my documents. Maybe a few news flashes, a few classified "For sales" and "Wanted",
posting some pictures in the gallery, and maybe some more discussions in our
forums. Looking forward to seeing what develops on our website over the next four
months.

    Take care,
       William
