Welcome!

This site is dedicated to the use, maintenance, repair, history, and collection of the Axiomat
microscope from the Carl Zeiss Group.  It is my intention to provide a website  for all persons
interested in the history, and use of this one-of-a-kind microscope. According to more
knowledgeable folks than I there were less than 800 of these magnificent scopes sold worldwide,
about 200 in the U.S.A. Though I have spoken with a gentleman who has over 11!
